Physiotherapist
Vis Ramasamy is a highly qualified physiotherapist with wide experience in dealing with pain and disability. He aims to provide time to listen closely to what concerns you, to provide high-quality and evidence-based treatment and to include you in goal setting, planning and your treatment.
Apart from extensive skills and experience in the fields of musculoskeletal and neurological physiotherapy, Vis has a special interest and skill in complex pain management and the application of acupuncture. He is one of the few physiotherapists who can effectively use acupuncture to help with cancer-related side-effects.
Vis has published two articles in reputable journals around using acupuncture for the side-effects of cancer and cancer treatment.
Vis qualified as a chartered physiotherapist in 2000 and worked in India before taking a M.Sc. in musculoskeletal physiotherapy at Sheffield Hallam University.
Vis is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP) and is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
