Virginia Williams has extensive expertise in sports injuries and musculoskeletal pain due to her varied experience in different fields of sport. She typically uses manual therapy, sports taping, soft tissue massage and rehabilitation exercise therapy in her treatments.
Having qualified from Leeds Metropolitan University in 1988 she worked in the NHS for the next ten years, becoming a senior physiotherapist managing a busy clinical department in London prior to taking up private practice.
From 1998 on she worked in private practices and achieved competence in treating sports injuries and chronic pain problems and in using Pilates techniques. Two ski seasons working in France involved treating acute injuries in ski instructors and holiday skiers.
For eight years she was physiotherapist to London Welsh Rugby Football Club and has also worked with Glamorgan County Cricket Club.
