Louise Child MCSP, Chartered Physiotherapist
With over a decade of experience in a wide range of clinical situations, Louise Child offers expert assessment and treatment for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
She qualified as a physiotherapist at the University of Manchester in 2001 and since then has worked at Scarborough Hospital. Currently she holds the post of extended scope practitioner, examining and diagnosing orthopaedic patients in clinics in conjunction with the orthopaedic consultants.
Providing physiotherapy services to both elective (planned surgery) and trauma (accident) wards in Scarborough, she belongs to the Association of Chartered Physiotherapists with an interest in Orthopaedic Medicine and Injection Therapy (ACPOMIT).
Louise’s special expertise lies in the diagnosis and management of musculoskeletal conditions such as lower back pain, neck pain, arthritis, sports injuries, soft tissue pain and post-operative orthopaedics.
