Kristin received her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Kansas Medical Center, USA in 1995. She has a special interest in lower limb biomechanics and has extensive experience in the treatment of chronic or recurring sports injuries, including prescribing custom-made foot orthotics (insoles).
Through her several years as the Lead Practitioner of the Cambridge Sports and Exercise Medicine Unit at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, and through her private work, she has treated many sportsmen, up to the elite and Olympic level, in a variety of sports. She has a special interest in long-distance runners and the biomechanical origins of their injuries.
Kristin Giussani is one of the Founders and Directors of PhysiOptima. She also teaches Pilates 1:1 and classes.
