Warners Physiotherapy's founder is Keith Warner M.Sc. MCSP, who specialises in musculoskeletal physiotherapy with advanced understanding in the knee, shoulder and the use of exercise to aid recovery. Keith also has extensive experience in Sports Science and Biomechanics culminating in a Masters Degree in Sport and Exercise Science in the 1990s.
Keith would also like to use his expertise in the evidence-based use of exercise in the wider medical community particularly in mental health, the elderly and the recovery from cancer.
Beyond being a physiotherapist, Keith has been a clinical director for Smith & Nephew Health Care for over twenty years. This has involved relating research and development to sales in areas of sports medicine and orthopaedics.
Keith Warner trained as a physiotherapist at Leeds University, working in the NHS and as Hull Kingston Rovers physio for five years. Moving to the Football Association Rehabilitation Centre at Lilleshall, he managed injuries and fitness in elite world sportspeople. After this Keith completed twenty years with Hull FC, Great Britain Rugby League and Hull City FC. He also oversaw as sports medicine for all age groups at GB Ice Hockey.
Other notable fixtures were with the World XI Cricket Team, World Championship Boxers and numerous performing arts professionals. He was also Lead Clinician at the 1991 World Student Games in Sheffield.
