Although Jeff’s main career path has involved elite sportsmen and women, he is keen also to bring his successful approach to helping non-athletes who just want to enjoy a normal life without pain.
His special interests include complex shoulder pain and spinal conditions, helping patients of all ability levels overcome their pain or injury and return to doing the things they love.
With his expert level of knowledge around complex pain and injury problems, Jeff has diagnosed, treated and rehabilitated a large number of elite athletes back to peak performance. He is also consulted regularly to take on people who have had many previous treatments without improvement, showing very good results in returning these patients to normal function.
Jeff’s wide sporting experience includes being Head Physiotherapist for New Zealand’s rugby league and football teams, and later with Sale Sharks as they won a premiership title. He has also run medical departments for Sale Sharks and Manchester City’s Academy.
Jeff lectures regularly on shoulder conditions and rehabilitation. He is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP).
