I am a Bobath trained Physiotherapist with more than 25 years experience in Neuro-Rehabilitation for both adults and children in the NHS and the private sector.

I only do Home Visits and can cover areas including East Sussex, West of West Sussex, South West Kent & South East Surrey. My hours can be flexible to suit the needs of clients, families and their care teams.

Neuro-Rehabilitation Treatments I use include:

• Neuro-developmental approach to gain/regain functional skills based on Bobath, Vojta and PNF treatment techniques
• Functional Electric Stimulation (FES) to improve arm function, and leg function for gait improvement
• FES and facilitation techniques for facial muscles to improve facial symmetry
• Advice on suitability of Lycra garment provision
• SAEBO hand function training
• Vestibular and Sensory Integration Treatment
• LSVT-BIG treatment approach for patients with Parkinson’s Disease

The overall aim of a Neuro-Rehabilitation treatment is to achieve as much functional ability as possible that your diagnosis allows, using a variety of approaches. During the initial assessment realistic joint goals (short term and long term) will be discussed and agreed with the patient and his/her relatives or carers. I continually review progress during the treatment sessions.
