Daniella Silver

Daniella Silver - BSc, PGc, MCSP, ACPIN, AACP

Daniella is an expert physiotherapist who is skilled in managing musculoskeletal, neurological and orthopaedic conditions.

Arriving in the UK at the beginning of 2005, she set up and ran the physiotherapy department for a private healthcare company. This involved private rehabilitation and respiratory physiotherapy for people with complex neurological and orthopaedic conditions.

Daniella has gained wide skills in managing many conditions including multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, Parkinson's disease, and post-operative care. She is a registered member of ACPIN, the Associated of Chartered Physiotherapists Interested in Neurology.

In 2009, Daniella achieved a Postgraduate Certificate in the “24 hour postural management of complex disabilities in adults and children” from Oxford Brookes University. Now completing her master's degree in Physiotherapy from Coventry University, she has wide knowledge and skills in Botox administration, wheelchair assessments, splinting and Functional Electrical Stimulation.

Daniella developed musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy skills working at a NHS GP surgery over seven years. She gained experience in conditions such as low back pain, neck pain, shoulder, knee, and elbow conditions and post-operative rehabilitation. She has Pilates skills and is a registered acupuncturist with the Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (AACP).

Working closely with clients, families and healthcare professionals, Daniella aims to provide maximum functional results by adopting a holistic approach.

Graduating from the University of Cape Town with a B.Sc. in Physiotherapy in 2003, Daniella set up a community clinic in Johannesburg to provide physiotherapy services at a primary care level.
