I qualified from the University of East London with an Honours degree in physiotherapy in 1993. I have also carried out a Masters degree in Physiotherapy, graduating in 2003.
I have specialised within the area of neurology since 1995, working within acute hospitals, long-term care facilities, rehabilitation settings and the community. I have spent time treating people within their own homes and understand the challenges that present in the community setting.
I am registered with the Health and Care Professions Council which sets standards for health professionals related to their training, behaviour and professional skills. I am a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy. I am a member of ACPIN – Association of Chartered Physiotherapists Interested In Neurology and also a member of AGILE – Chartered Physiotherapists working with older people.
