About to have orthopaedic surgery to the spine or one of your joints? At Post Op Home Physio Barnet we provide specialist care and rehabilitation for people recovering from planned or fracture surgery.

We specialise in the care and progression of people who have undergone recent orthopaedic surgery such as knee replacement, hip replacement, shoulder or back surgery. For maximum convenience, we come to you at your place of residing and we have specialist experience in getting the best out of your operation. Close liaison with consultant surgeons means we are always up to date on the latest protocols and precautions.

During your admission in an NHS or private hospital for surgery for a fracture, joint replacement or spinal surgery you will be closely supervised but it’s a different matter when you are discharged. Services for post-operative rehabilitation are patchy and there may be a significant waiting time. We provide expert specialised physiotherapy via domiciliary visits/home visits where we come to you to check your progress.

We ensure all our physiotherapy staff are trained with the latest treatment methods so you get the best outcome. These include acupuncture, personalised programme, skilled guidance and advice, joint mobilising techniques and massage therapy.

We only do post-operative rehab physiotherapy for people who have joint replacements, joint surgery or fractures so we can concentrate on being the experts in this business. Our expertise is in getting people’s mobility back, progressing joint movements, easing pain and swelling and facilitating a return to normal life.

All our physiotherapists are members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
