About Physiotherapy & Acupuncture Clinic Petersfield

The Physiotherapy and Acupuncture Clinic Petersfield is run by Louise Hammond who is very experienced in the assessment, treatment and management of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.

Initial assessments include treatment and last for 45 minutes, with a full assessment of the problem followed by a treatment plan to reduce pain, promote healing and normal function and reduce the likelihood of recurrence.

Conditions treated include neck pain, back pain, sacroiliac pain, joint problems, sports injuries, fractures and rehabilitation after operations. Treatments available are advice, exercise, acupuncture, ultrasound, soft tissue techniques and joint mobilisations.

I am a mum of 3 and a qualified medical doctor. Louise has now helped me on two separate occasions with shoulder related symptoms. She is both extremely knowledgeable and kind. She really wants to help her patients and understands which exercises can be realistically incorporated into a busy lifestyle and how to make these part of daily life. In addition to effectively treating my symptoms, Louise has really helped me understand the underlying causes of my problems (work posture, driving, lifting my toddler) so that not only has this episode now been successfully treated but I also have the practical knowledge to try to prevent further episodes. Louise has a huge amount of experience, is extremely caring and conscientious and I really cannot recommend her highly enough.

I pulled my back out over the Christmas holidays & thought I wouldn't be able to get back to work, but after only 2 visits, I am in shock at the difference, brilliant can't rate Louise highly enough, have had some physio in the past and wasn't impressed, Many thanks
