Physio Home Care

Physio Home Care is a specialist rehabilitation provider for people with neurological conditions in the comfort of their own home. Based in the north of West Sussex, covering up to the M25, the South Downs and all surrounding areas of East Grinstead.

I only see ADULT NEUROLOGICAL patients such as people with a stroke, MS or Parkinson's disease

Please note I do NOT treat children or musculoskeletal conditions such as back pain, neck pain or other joint pains.

Physio Home Care physiotherapists specialise in the assessment and treatment of people who have acquired a brain injury, stroke or other disease affecting the nervous system. The brain and nervous system has potential for improvement, even some time following the initial injury or event and physiotherapy aims to maintain and improve any movement and function that can be achieved.

Assessment & Treatment

Assessments will be carried out at home and will usually last an hour. This will involve discussion regarding personal details, medical history and what you are hoping to achieve from physiotherapy. Following this, a gentle physical assessment will be carried out concentrating on how the problems identified in discussion present in daily life.

A set of goals to be achieved will then be set between the you and the physiotherapist, so that both parties understand further ongoing treatment. Further follow-up sessions will work on these goals and they will be reviewed with both parties at specified times. Assistance can also be given on the provision of some aids to enable you to remain safe at home.
