OUR SERVICES

• Physiotherapy. Our up-to-date and highly skilled physiotherapy staff can quickly get to the root of your pain or injury and treat you with advice, exercise prescription, joint mobilisations, spinal manipulation, deep tissue massage, acupuncture and many other techniques.
• Sports Massage. Sports massage is not limited to sportsmen and women, it can be very useful in muscle strains, joint problems and chronic pain conditions.
• Facial Acupuncture. This procedure is cosmetic and used to decrease the appearance of wrinkles and tone the skin of the face.
• IMS Acupuncture. This technique combines traditional Chinese methods with modern scientific knowledge and is helpful with long-term pain (chronic pain) and muscle tension.
• Shockwave Therapy. Shockwave therapy is non-invasive and used to break down fibrosis in scar tissues. It is particularly suited to treating tendon problems such as Achilles tendon pain, tennis elbow and plantar fasciitis (heel pain).
• Diagnostic Ultrasound. Ultrasound can be very useful to diagnose tendon and ligament problems such as rotator cuff tears of the shoulder.
• Accidents. We can help with treatment and rehabilitation after car accidents or accidents at work. We are registered with and work with all the major insurance companies.

Nikki Bowden Flowers is a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). Bowden Physio is a family run practice with a dedicated full-time physiotherapist and sports therapist, a husband and wife team of Nikki Bowden Flowers and Geoff Flowers.

Nikki is a skilled physiotherapist with over 23 years of experience of treating muscular, joint and other injuries.
